Tyson Barrett, PhD is the current data.table maintainer working with a talented team of developers and a wonderful development community. During his day job, he works with a team of researchers at Highmark Health, a healthcare organization, to improve healthcare outcomes, costs, and experiences. Tyson has been an avid user of R since 2014 and has several packages published on CRAN (e.g., furniture, tidyfast).
