Aidan Lakshman is a PhD Candidate in Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh. His dissertation focuses on developing tools for large-scale comparative genomics. He is expected to graduate in May 2025 and is actively searching for employment opportunities. Aidan is an author of the `SynExtend` and `froth` packages, and is a contributor to `Biostrings`. In his free time, he plays jazz in Pittsburgh, learns about retro computing, builds mechanical keyboards, and hikes.
