Rob J Hyndman is well-known for his many R packages including forecast, demography and fable. He is a Fellow of both the Australian Academy of Science and the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia, and the author of over 200 research papers and 5 books. He has won many awards, including the Moran medal from the Australian Academy of Science, the Pitman medal from the Statistical Society of Australia, along with awards for his research, teaching, consulting and graduate supervision.
