Have you ever faced any of the following questions?
What are the main differences when moving from using SAS to open-source languages like R?
How can we ensure open-source R packages reliably and consistently do what they say they do?
How could we best prepare for audits when using open-source R packages?
The use of R in submissions to healthcare and other industry regulators presents challenges as the quality of packages must be ensured, and evidence of this quality must be readily available.

The R Validation Hub’s Regulatory R Repository workstream has been the venue for engaging in discussions on validating open-source software in regulated industries. It is now developing a pilot of a trusted centralized and public repository along with its accompanying validation pipeline and reference container image.

In this talk, we will showcase our first pilot, provide details on the roadmap and summarize our learnings. We will also explain how individuals and organizations can support this initiative.
